What a personalized guide is

Six subject families, one method. This page explains what a guide contains, how the scope is fixed before you pay, and what arrives at the end.

What is actually inside one

A guide is written prose with structure, not a slide deck and not a checklist with the gaps left for you to fill. It opens with the situation you described, states what it will cover and what it will not, and then works through the subject in the order that fits the constraints you gave. Length follows the brief: a guide about one habit and forty minutes a week is short on purpose, and a guide about reorganising how a household runs is not.

What fixes the scope

The product page of each guide states what it covers, the delivery format, the delivery time and the revision scope. The personalization questionnaire you are shown at that moment defines the brief. Nothing outside those two documents is part of the order unless we agree to it in writing by email, and that is deliberate: an unwritten scope is how a made-to-order product turns into a disagreement.

The six families, in detail

What each family covers, what a guide in it typically contains, and where the subject stops being something we will write about.

Routines and daily structure

Building a day that survives contact with a real calendar: anchors, transitions, what to protect and what to let go of when the week goes sideways.

Typically covers

  • The two or three fixed points a day can actually be built around
  • What to drop first when the week goes wrong, decided in advance
  • A one-page version you can keep next to the kettle
Proof sheets fanned in a row and held at one corner by a metal clip.

Organisation and planning

Where things live and how decisions get recorded. Files, notes, lists, calendars and the handful of rules that keep them from turning into a second job.

Typically covers

  • A place for every kind of thing you keep, and the rule that decides it
  • How a decision gets written down so you stop re-making it
  • The weekly half hour that stops the system collapsing

Habits and follow-through

Starting small enough to be boring, tracking without ceremony, and what to do on the day you skip. Written around the habits you named, not a sample set.

Typically covers

  • One habit, made small enough that skipping it feels silly
  • A record you can keep in eight seconds a day
  • What to do on the day you skip, written before you skip it
A printed page with a narrow text column and a blue pencil line down the wide margin.

Focus and working hours

Attention, interruptions and the shape of a working block. Adapted to whether your day is meetings, deep work, shifts or a mix you do not control.

Typically covers

  • Where your attention actually goes, measured for a week first
  • A block shape that fits your real calendar, not an ideal one
  • Interruptions you can refuse, and the ones you cannot

Personal development and reflective planning

Structured questions, review rhythms and written reflection for people who want to think on paper instead of collecting more advice.

Typically covers

  • A set of questions worth returning to, not a gratitude list
  • A review rhythm you will still be doing in three months
  • What to write when nothing has changed
A folded printed sheet on a desk beside a plain glass of water.

General wellbeing education

Sleep, movement and food habits as general educational reading. Not a diet, not a training prescription, not advice for anything a clinician should be looking at.

Typically covers

  • General reading on sleep, movement and eating habits
  • What the common advice assumes about your circumstances
  • Where the reading stops and a clinician starts

What you receive

Every product page carries its own specification, because the guides are not all the same length or shape. What is always true:

A finished digital file
Delivered online to the address on the order, in the format stated on the product page you bought from.
A stated revision scope
If the guide includes a revision round, the product page says what it covers. If the delivered guide does not match the brief you submitted, we correct it at no cost within 14 days, separately from any included revision.
A re-send window
We keep your file for 24 months. Lose it in that window and we send it again, free, when you ask.

Prices, currency and delivery times are shown on each product page at the moment of purchase. We do not publish them here, because the one that binds is the one you saw.
